Open Call Description:
We invite artists worldwide to submit work for Presence, an online exhibition exploration of awareness and immediacy, this exhibition invites work that captures stillness, attention, and the experience of the present moment. This open call welcomes all visual art styles and interpretations.

Curatorial Prompt:    

Presence invites a return to the immediate—to what exists here and now. This exhibition explores attention, awareness, and the act of truly seeing. In a world often defined by distraction and acceleration, presence offers a quiet counterpoint: a space of stillness, clarity, and engagement. Artists are encouraged to consider how their work captures or evokes a sense of being fully within a moment. This may manifest through simplicity, detail, repetition, or intensity of focus. Presence can be subtle or powerful, intimate or expansive, but it always suggests a heightened awareness of experience. The works in this exhibition may draw attention to overlooked details, amplify ordinary forms, or create immersive environments that invite contemplation. Rather than directing interpretation, Presence allows space for individual response, encouraging viewers to slow down and connect with what is before them. In doing so, the exhibition becomes an experience of attention itself, an opportunity to encounter art not as something separate, but as something deeply felt.

Submission Guidelines:

• Open to all visual artists (emerging and established) 
• All mediums accepted: painting, photography, sculpture, digital, mixed media, etc. 
• 1–3 artworks per submission 
• Include: title, medium, dimensions, and brief description      
• Artwork must be original 
• Artist must be 18 years old or older
• High-quality JPEG or PNG images 
• Pictures MUST have LastName_FirstName_ArtworkTitle for each artwork
• Only the Artwork - NO Frames, Borders, Backgrounds or Matting around the photo

Entry Fee:
$20 non-refundable submission fee for up to 3 artworks. 

Submission does NOT guarantee acceptance to the exhibition.

This is an Online exhibition hosted on the TSB Gallery website.

Selection Process:

Works are selected based on interpretation of theme, originality, and visual impact. 

Commission on Sales

Artists can determine whether they wish to sell their artwork. TSB Gallery does not take a commission on artwork in our exhibitions. If a collector is interested in purchasing an artist’s work, we direct them to the artist for purchase and shipping. 

Copyright 

Artists, photographers and sculptors retain all rights to submitted images and artwork. Artists accepted into the exhibition or event will grant the TSB Gallery rights to use selected images as well as data (such as the artist's name) for publicity / marketing (print and electronic) and for archival purposes, including use on the Gallery's website and on social media. 

Steps for Submission

Once you have made your payment, you will receive an email with a link to fill out the form with your artwork. Please make sure to check your spam folder for the payment receipt.
